- What does "remotely hosted" mean?
- Do I have to move my web site?
- No, you will still use your current web site. All you have to do is add a few lines of HTML to your existing site to connect it to your shopping cart on Remote Cart. (Updated: 09/18/99)
- Do you charge a processing fee if I sell a item?
- No, the only fee you will be charged is the $9.95 monthly fee. You can sell as many items as you want. We will never charge you a processing fee. (Updated: 01/12/04)
- Do you handle the credit card processing?
- No, all we do is securely accept your customers credit card information and pass it on to you. In order to accept credit cards you will need to setup a merchant account. If you have any questions about setting up a merchant account please contact us. (Updated: 11/26/99)

- How do I connect my site to the shopping cart?
- We have an online guide that has all the details you will need to connect your current web site to the shopping cart on our server. (Updated: 08/24/99)
- How many items can I put in my online store?
- You are not limited in the number of items you can place in your online store. Unlike other shopping cart providers, we do not limit you in any way... You can list 1 or 10,000 items. (Updated: 09/30/99)
- How much does this cost and how do I make payments?
- Each shopping cart costs $9.95 a month, we do not charge extra for features so you don't have to worry about hidden charges. We also do not charge a setup fee. In order to keep our costs down we have a simplified billing procedure. On the first of every month we will either bill your credit card or debit your checking account the $9.95. If you sign-up after the first of the month, your first month will be prorated until the end of the month. (Updated: 08/24/99)
- Is the shopping cart compatible with my current web site and web server?
- Yes, our shopping cart will work with ANY web site and web server anywhere on the Internet. To see our shopping cart working on several different web sites just visit our demo. (Updated: 08/24/99)
- Is the shopping cart secure?
- Yes, we use the highest available encryption on the Internet. We offer 128 bit SSL. We also encrypt each order while it is stored on our server. (Updated: 08/24/99)
- Is there a limit on the number of orders that can be placed by my customers?
- NO! We have seen several shopping carts who charge you by the number of orders you recieve. We do not believe in charging you more just because your store is sucessful... We want your store to be sucessful. The more orders you get the better! (Updated: 09/30/99)
- What does "remotely hosted" mean?
- It basically means that we host the actual shopping cart program on our server. This way you can use a basic web server, you do not have to know any programing language, and can keep your current web site where it is. (Updated: 08/24/99)
